Who are you and what do you want?
Someone once told me, "It's easy to get what you want. The trick is to know what to want. You have to want the right things, because the wrong things will come, too."
Unpack yourself. Question everything. Get in the habit of doing regular check-ins with yourself. Ask yourself:
Why do I want this?
Is this what I actually think, or is this what someone else thinks?
Who do I really want to be?
I want you to taste it.
If you want a 100,000 followers on TikTok, visualize that number on your profile. If you want to make $1M, imagine the money rolling into your bank account. If you want to meet the love of your life, believe that it's coming
Not if, but when.
Don’t just visualize these things, pinpoint the emotion beneath them.
For instance, what does having a 100k followers actually give you?
I’d imagine you’d feel pretty good about yourself. You’d probably feel confident and wouldn’t be questioning every single piece of content you make, right? Because you know people are following you for a reason, you’ve proven yourself.
Now, what would it be like if you adopted that energy right now? Could you imagine showing up in this way? Just for today, try it. Post like you already have one million people watching.
Guess What? You Are Your Audience
You know all those people you’ve been thinking about? The audience you've been creating for? They are not who you're creating for.
“I *should* talk about ___.” No, you shouldn’t.
Refrain from talking about things you don’t actually care about. (You'd be surprised how often people do this). Say only what you are compelled to say. Post only what reflects your authentic values, interests, and experiences. This is path to confidence. It's rooted in knowing, and expressing, your authentic self.
You are the audience.
What do you want to hear? Now, go say that.
Love Yourself into Being
We love people who love themselves.
In the thick of a depressive episode, I once asked myself, “What would it look like to love myself in this moment?” And the answers would vary. Sometimes, it would be taking a walk. Other times, it would be drinking a glass of water or even scheduling a doctor’s appointment.
I began to ask myself the same question every day.
"What would it look like to love myself?"
Not tomorrow, not next month, not forever. Just right now.
Eventually, I found that “loving myself” wasn’t a collection of grand, illusive gestures. They were small acts of love, delivered over a long period of time. And they carried me, delivered me out of depression.
You can do it, too, you know, love yourself. It doesn't have to be big and scary. It can happen today. It can happen right now. What would loving yourself look like in this moment?

know what you want (actually)
post the content you want to see
and love yourself, though tiny gestures each day
